The '90s called, and they'd like about a thousand more of these rom-coms, please.

As promised to us last summer, Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves are starring in Destination Wedding, a film that revolves around two curmudgeonly singletons who happen to be attending a wedding for a mutual friend. But instead of a logline, we now have a trailer. And it is spectacular.

Heading off the beaten path in Spain, Ryder's and Reeves's characters-Lindsay and Frank-have a less-than-pleasant meet cute (maybe we should dub it a "meet hate" instead?) at an airport and soon discover, gasp, that they're not only going to the same wedding, but that they're going to be paired together for the majority of it, owing to their older single status. But what begins as an exercise in tolerance through wine country and banquet dinners soon blossoms into something that might actually, maybe be a legitimate romance, their initial repulsion of each other be damned.

“As a fan, I have such longstanding love for both of them and for their work, so it feels really good to see them together again. And as a filmmaker, I have the benefit of their having known each other for so long. They have superb natural chemistry together, which is so important for a love story," the film's director, Victor Levin, told People when the trailer dropped. “Keanu and Winona are stars for a reason: they have huge talent and skill, and they work very hard. But they also keep it fun. They rehearsed their dialogue together, helped each other, made everybody laugh-they were delightful. They are the movie. It's about their characters and the healing power of love and laughter.”

Watch the trailer below, and catch it in theaters in August.
