There's nothing that we love more than browsing for wedding registry items, second only to looking at wedding dresses all day. We know that kick starting your wedding gift registry can be overwhelming, there are so many rooms, so many options, so many pretty things you and your soon-to-be husband just have to have! Our editors agree that setting up your registry should be one of the first things listed on your post-engagement to do list - after all, your friends and family are itching to start showering you with gifts. But… where to start?

Our expert suggestion: start with the kitchen! And, lucky for you, we're here to help de-mystify that process. We've partnered with Williams-Sonoma to give you the ultimate kitchen checklist, complete with our editors' favorite cookware, bakeware, gadgets, and more! Take note, and then head to Williams-Sonoma to create your BRIDES-approved kitchen registry.

Your Healthy Habits Staple

You want to keep all of those healthy habits beyond the wedding day, right? The Vitamix Heritageis THE registry item for couples looking to make that move into a wellness lifestyle, plus it's super versatile. "It has a super powerful motor and is one of the most used products in my kitchen - smoothies for sure, but it also blends soups and sauces in a matter of seconds," says one Vitamix happy staffer.

If counter space is sparse and you're more of a grab and go couple, consider the equally powerful Vitamix S55 Personal Blender. One staffer says: "My fiancГ© and I don't need a gigantic blender for just the two of us, so this little size is perfect. And it comes with a personal to go cup, which instantly turns your morning smoothie into a to go breakfast." When creating your registry list, it's always great to nudge already married friends for advice. And more often than not, they will tell you to add a KitchenAid to that list. "When I ask my married friends what's the one registry splurge that's worth it? It's this. Every. Single. Time," says one editor. "We use ours constantly for anything from soups and stews to pasta dishes, and my husband even bakes bread in ours "

"You can braise, you can deep fry - you can even make a skillet chocolate chip cookie cake This thing goes from stovetop to oven to table (because it's pretty, too ) without breaking a sweat."
